Created by the New York City-based creative, it’s his third silhouette with the Nike following on from the coveted Mars Yard and the space age-inspired Overshoe. Intentionally made to be “boring”, the GPS is made for everyday life. Coined as an “ordinary shoe for extraordinary people”, every single aspect of this sneaker is designed to be a tool rather than a fashion piece. Taking inspiration from models like the Killshot and the Waffle, the mesh upper of the General Purpose Shoe is extra breathable, while suede panelling wraps around for a premium look and feel. This all comes packed within a special edition shoebox that was first used for the aforementioned Mars Yard.Having been well received by sneakerheads upon its initial drop, the Swoosh has set up a re-release for this first colourway of the GPS.
