This time, the sportswear giant reached out to NY-based skate label Stingwater that is led by Daniel Kim to bring forth the Stingewater x Nike SB Dunk Low Bright Red. Again, as with most Dunk releases, the hype level on this iteration is insane.Working on a leather-constructed upper that is predominantly hued in red, a plethora of white spots, almost reminiscent of Nike’s signature elephant pattern, adorn the rear and front panels. Across the sidewalls, a clear jewelled mini Swoosh takes helm complemented with Stingwater branding that looks like it’s falling off the side of the shoe. Not only that, the tongue is graced with a square gold badge that reads “Stingwater Shoe – VERY SPECIAL”, and this sits on a glossy plastic tongue that also features a little pocket behind for your secret stash, very much like the one on the Nike Dunk Low City Market.
