This offering of the Run The Jewels x Nike SB Dunk Low comes constructed in a leather build featuring a Sky Blue base with Pink Swooshes. Other details includes RTJ’s hand gun and fist logos on the heels with the date 4/20 hidden on the Zoom bags of the insoles. One of them reads, “JAIMILY 2010” nodding to El-P’s real name, Jamie Meline, and his wife Emily Panic, who began dating on that date. The other insoles references to Killer Mike’s birthday, 4/20/75.

It’s obvious that both Killer Mike and EI-P aren’t afraid of colour. In a world that is full of earth tones and monochromatic colour schemes, it’s good to see the duo went full out with their double pack of Nike SB Dunks. The Hip Hop duo has done their fans a solid by including a High and Low version of the Nike Dunk, as some people really can't get on board with a certain cut of the silhouette.
While this Dunk Low doesn’t boast as many features as its counterpart, the colour blocking on these will have attracted the attention of fans and sneakerheads alike. The suede pink Swoosh nods to pony hair panelling on the high edition, while providing a great pop to the shoe's branding. The panelling throughout the shoe uses different shades of blue, from light on the collar to dark on the mudguard. An array of materials has also made their way onto the construction, including suede from the toe box up to heel counter and even swapping out the regular padded tongue for a leather one. The semi-translucent sole is what really lays the cherry on top of the cake for this edition, complementing the blue accents so beautifully.These will be dropping on SNKRS as well as select retailers on the 20th of April in what you can expect to be limited quantities.
