#50 interpolates familiar details and colors from Abloh’s past Nike collaborations with some fresh new details. It’s done up in black and equipped with a metallic silver Swoosh a la the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “MoMA” from 2018, while also adding the overlaid rope lacing system from past Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Low collaborations and cut-out oval detailing on the tongue that’s borrowed from the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5.
From a build standpoint, #50 mixes a textile toebox, quarter panel and collar with supple leather mudguards, eyestays, Swooshes and heels. Apart from the aforementioned Swooshes, there’s signature silver text on the lateral quarter and a silver Nike Sportswear hit on the heel. Dashes of purple are introduced into the mix as well, appearing on the midsole’s badge and the delicatley-pinned tag that hangs down from the lateral Swoosh.
