Nike’s Zoom Vomero long distance running shoe that first came out in 2010, the Zoom Vomero 5, has a delicious new chocolate-hued variant. Presenting the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Velvet Brown. This Zoom Vomero 5 has a multi-layered and multi-material design. The toe cap features shiny black patent leather while the toe box is made from chocolate-looking Velvet Brown mesh with matching suede overlays. More black patent leather can be found on the eye stay panel and the collar. The mid-panels show off a slatted design with the overlays in Velvet Brown and the underlays in Gym Red, matching the branded tongue tab design. The signature profile Swooshes that sweep across both the medial and lateral mid-panels are Velvet Brown with exposed Gym Red stitching. The diamond-patterned TPU heel panel is dark grey.
