Designed to drive cancer research funding through a partnership with the Kay Yow Cancer fund—the KD 13 “Aunt Pearl” is the tenth edition of this celebrated franchise. This special edition Nike KD 13 features an upper dressed in Pink, contrasted by an abalone pearl inspired Swoosh and sole. To honor the spirit of Aunt Pearl, a portion of proceeds from this shoe will go towards finding cures for women’s cancers.
The Nike KD 13 Aunt Pearl is a special edition release from the Nike KD 13 sneaker lineup paying homage to Kevin Durant’s late aunt.
This sneaker features a synthetic upper dressed in Pink Foam, Airy Pink, and Void Blue. A Pearl Swoosh that disappears into the midsole appears on the lateral, and a small Flipped Swoosh on the medial highlight the upper. Both have light blue stitching details. The collar flaps boast a colorful marbled graphic with Void Blue and purple hues. A Pink Zoom Air midsole with Durant’s number ‘7’ embossed on the lateral forefoot and blue and pink marbles outsole round out the design.
The Nike KD 13 Aunt Pearl was released on October 24, 2020 – retailing at $160.
