The 2022 reissue of the Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘West Indies’ revives the classic colorway in time for its 20th anniversary. Celebrating New York City’s West Indian Day Parade, the low-top is faithful to the original 2002 release, highlighted by a white leather upper with Classic Green accents on the collar lining and heel tab. West Indies branding appears on the woven tongue tag, molded lace dubrae, and an embroidered graphic on the lateral heel.

So much so, that it’s become the go-to canvas for collaborations, special-edition versions and cultural celebrations. The latest themed AF1 to hit the market is the Nike Air Force 1 Low “West Indies”, a rerelease of a pair that originally launched in 2002.Releasing once more to celebrate the West Indian Day Parade on September the 5th, the special-edition pair arrives in a simplistic white and green make-up, with hints of red and gold paying tribute to the territories in question. A white leather base gives way to bright green heel panels, which match the green sock liners and provides the sneakers with extra pops of colour. The lateral heels feature themed “West Indies” embroidery in red and green, with a palm tree motif appearing in golden yellow. The same gold shade appears on the gold-on-green branding hits at the heel and tongue tabs.
