The Nike Air Max joins the brand’s “First Use” pack, celebrating 50 years of the Swoosh. The Christian Tesser designed-Nike Air Max 97 First Use White Black comes in neutrals with strategic pops of red.

The first layer on the upper is a fuzzy off-white suede wrapping the shoe from heel to toe. This layer alternates with beige and bone-coloured nylon and suede on the signature wavy design of the Air Max 97. The “First Use June 18, 1971” text is featured on the mid-panel window on the medial side. The lateral mid-panel window shows off a mini Swoosh in black with a red outline. The pair also has retro branding on the tongue tab and heel pull tab. The full-length Air unit that has been a feature of the Air Max 97 since its introduction in 1997 remains simple in a clear cassette and white construction. A bejewelled gold deubre finishes the look.
